Say Yes

I guess,
I thought I had more to say.
Sometimes, I'll say a lot,
other times it's short,
miniscule and useless.
I guess this is one of those times.

I've gotten a blast of wintry from somewhere.
Some little lick of ice and snow
and horrible roads
and the lovely, lovely, perfect picture
of the snowflakes getting caught in the
very orange streetlight as they get all swirled around
in the nighttime sky.
It's one of my favorite images of wintertime.
But I really don't even like winter at all
(my least favorite is fall though, it's so gross)
so this somewhat nostalgic reminiscing is
oddly out of place.
But it looks nice, right? All the snow and icicles.
But the cold is unbearable. The grey skies, too heavy.
Although I currently feel like if I got up and went to the window
I'd expect there to be snow outside.

And he laughed on the phone.
I love his laugh, it makes me happy
because it's spastic and totally silly.
But it's entirely different and entirely the same
on the telephone. But I liked it a whole lot.

It's silly things like his laughing on the phone
that make me feel so dumb. I hate when people
obsess over things like that, yet here I am doing the same.

But it was damn cute, and I love him and his laugh a whole lot.
