Meaning:
Situation Normal, All Fucked Up
And today was pretty much a snafu.
Not full on fubar or anything.
(Fucked up beyond all recognition, I think)
But it just wasn't pleasant.
BUT
In spite of everything
Despite all the odds
And despite global warming
It is snowing.
Was snowing.
Will snow.
The ground has that beautiful dusting of white wonderland magic.
SNOW.
Which makes me so very confident that there can be snow on Christmas this year!
If it's already snowing on December first,
What's to stop it from snowing all month?
I don't understand people that don't like snow.
It's beautiful.
Silent and pristine.
Cold, yes,
But splendidly so.
I cannot contain my joy at this little feat of weatherly wonderment.
Time for snow poems.
AHHHHH.
I simply cannot stop myself from just smiling
And listening to Christmas music and turning the tree lights on and turning the fireplace on and drinking hot cocoa.
I freaking love the holidays.
I love them.
Wholeheartedly.
No more scrooge-y-ness from me.
I love snow and Christmas and all of that sentimentality and jazz.
It's so lovely.
So despite the SNAFU-iness of today,
It's still pretty outside.
And I really shouldn't have taken the time to blog about these meaningless things.
I have an hour and a half before driving school.
If there are two things I despise in this world, they are as follows:
AP US History.
Driver's Ed.
(And you know, all that other stuff.)
So it's homework time with some Frank Sinatra to accompany the thinking processes.
Adieu!
