In my dreams
I clutch to you tightly,
Because in dreams, we sleep.
You and I.
On a sailboat adrift in the deep, cold
Pacific, we're always lulled to dreams
On steady, rocking waves.
Stars are a lovely thing to fall asleep to.
And so we sleep in dreams.

Sometimes it's just all a wash of pale,
Weekday light.
Like spring.
Waking up to thin grey light
And a warm rain.
Windows wide open.
We sleep.

Why we sleep in dreams,
I'm not so sure.

Nautical,
That's what is.
You know, waking up.
The sea.
Nautical.

The forever association.
Nautical.

And I really like when thoughts get all strange.
You think of somebody in a light you never had before.
I like when your thoughts get weird and they're hard to describe,
But you still like them.

I especially like when you appear in a different light.
It makes it much more interesting...
