Get It Together

Some of the best times of my
entire life
happen with my little family
in D-Town.
We have a good time,
we do great work,
and I love them.
What else can I say?
We've gone entirely insane,
and it's been rad.

No matter the stress
that comes with the projects,
I know I can count on them,
I know we'll power through
anything.

I can't imagine my life
without d-town, actually.
I love filming, editing,
these people.
I love the long hours
(surprisingly)
in the studio,
the not coming home until
8:30, after doing work.

Doing something fulfilling
for a change.
It isn't busy work.
It isn't required work.
It's work I enjoy doing,
work I love,
and know they love too.

It makes me so
happy.
So pleased.
It makes me feel
alive and useful
and makes my heart
feel full.

And so I worked for
hours with my little family,
and then drove home with my
bass turned up and Matt and Kim
blasting away and thumping
into my heart,
and it was great.

Today was great.

I think tomorrow will be pretty
good too.

And hey, dear,
I love you.
I love when you're
silly and make weird sounds,
and when your hair's all messed up
and act like you're truly
one of us, and we can all have a
splendid time.
I love you, silly boy.
