Eight Days a Week

Time changes always viciously confuse me.

And with this mysteriously gained hour, I am completely lost.

Today has stretched on for what seems a small eternity.

I kind of hate Sundays.

The proverbial homework day,

That super lazy day of the week

Where you're actually supposed to do nothing,

And laze around.

I hate days like that.

There's always too much to do,

That you'd rather not do.

And the time change came around and made today feel longer than needed.

Awesome.

Who decided we were allowed to mess with time anyway?

Or is it just the perception of time us humans are messing around with?

Or do we really just like playing god and pranking everyone's clocks?

Humans have serious issues.

And yeah, of course, there are fancy scientific reasons for the set back,

But are they really good reasons?

My vote is going with no,

We just really like mind-fucking (for lack of a better term) with people.

This is probably a total waste of your time,

As you all probably just begrudgingly change your clocks that can't just change themselves

(And seriously, by 2010 you'd think they'd all just automatically switch)

And you probably really don't care that time has just changed.

I'm assuming 90% of the population feels this way.

Oh, on a completely unrelated sidenote,

It's reached 1,016 views

Since June.

That's like, 203 views a month.

And that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Really, it is quite a thing though.

This is also completely unrelated, but it occurred to me.

It was quite funny when you referred to me as your captive, twice no less,

(In regards to completely un-captive-like things, of course)

And then you lied about always sneezing twice.
